First, all friendly, informative opinions and comments are welcome concerning lampworking products, whether the opinions are constructively critical or to offer praise. However, when mentioning other people's artwork, extra sensitivity is required.

That which is not allowed on this forum are opinions and comments made out of anger or meant solely to cause harm, harass or denigrate products, companies, workmanship or people. There is no room on this forum for angry, inhospitable, mean-spirited postings of any kind. We have a zero tolerance policy toward this type of behavior. Violators will be permanently removed from this forum upon their first offense. Circumventing this removal will result in postings being submitted for review to our legal council for any possible further action. We are very serious about this issue.

99% of lampworkers don't need this rule mentioned. And I am sorry that it needs to be. However, other forums have been ruined by obnoxious, rude and defamatory comments by only a select few. 2. No profanity or abbreviations of profane words are permitted on this forum.

3. You may post links to your web pages within your forum messages. These links must only point to web pages where you sell, discuss or promote your artwork, or to lampworking products & supplies you make on a limited basis, or to some other facet of lampworking. Use the signature section in your profile to set this up. If you are discussing products, supplies or other items that you do not sell, you may also post links to those items or websites. You may offer lampworking products & supplies for sale or trade within this forum without paying for advertising as long as it is done on a limited basis and you are not in the business of regularly selling lampworking products & supplies. Promoting your artwork is free on this forum, as is promoting a few products and supplies (especially self-made products). Promoting lampworking products & supplies if you are in the business of regularly selling lampworking products & supplies is not free.

4. If you are in the business of regularly selling lampworking products and supplies, you may NOT initiate discussions or post links to your products unless you are advertising on this forum at the time those discussions or links are posted. You MAY discuss products you sell without advertising on this forum if other members discuss them first and you are only answering questions or offering helpful information. 5. Free advertising banners for artwork: You may submit your banner to us to be placed in a rotating display system on this forum at no charge. These free banners are for glass artwork only, not for products & supplies. These free banners must link to sites that only display your artwork, either for show or sale.
